Current research activity includes analysis of damage and failure in composite materials subjected to complex stress-strain conditions taking into consideration nonlinear shear elasticity and plasticity. Verification of developed models is based on experimental studies using CDMM Laboratory potential. Application of research results within industrial projects for structural analysis provides more accurate safe design of composite structures.Alexey Fedorenko graduated from Mechanics and Mathematics faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2010 and fulfilled his PhD research at National Research University «Higher School of Economics» in collaboration with Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia) and KinetX Aerospace company (Tempe, Arizona). Alexey Fedorenko has a significant experience of stress and fatigue analysis of Boeing airplanes primary structures.Scientific interests include continuum mechanics, composite materials, fracture mechanics, damage and degradation, nonlinear models of materials, finite element analysis .
