Sergey Zagoruyko

Sergey Zagoruyko is a researcher in machine learning, robotics, and computer vision. He obtained his PhD in deep learning from the Imagine research group at École des Ponts ParisTech after studying robotics and mechatronics at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

He is an experienced academic and industry professional, with over 10 years of experience working at notable organizations including Facebook AI Research, Lyft Level 5, Toyota Woven Planet, Intel, VisionLabs, and Samsung. His contributions to these teams have advanced the state-of-the-art in his fields of interest and his work is highly regarded.

Sergey Zagoruyko’s expertise and passion for research have led to influential publications in top-tier machine learning conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, and BMVC. He has co-authored several pivotal papers in deep learning, including the BMVC’s most cited paper, “Wide Residual Networks”, and one of ECCV’s most cited papers, “End-to-End Object Detection with Transformers”.
