Olga Korobova

Professor: Maxim Fedorov

Olga graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Security and Privacy sub-plan in 2012. She joined the IT-Security Master program at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany, and then transferred to Skoltech. This year, Olga graduated from Skoltech with a Master of Science degree in IT.

Olga’s research interest is in data security and privacy. She studied the security of Near Field Communication (NFC) contactless payment systems, worked on a transferrable e-cash implementation for smartphones and privacy preserving NFC-payments for e-mobility. Furthermore, she investigated secret key generation mechanisms in wireless networks through physical security.
