Loic Salles

Assistant Professor
Center for Digital Engineering

I joined Skoltech in September 2021. The topics of my research are nonlinear dynamics applied to turbomachinery, rotordynamics, reduced-order modeling with a link to machine learning techniques, and numerical methods for large scale modelling of mechanical systems.

Before joining Skoltech I worked at Imperial College London in the Rolls-Royce Vibration University Technology Center as a Research Fellow. I lead the computational vibration team and was in charge of the development of the Rolls-Royce software for nonlinear vibration analysis.
