Ivan Trussov

Dr. Ivan Trussov had completed his masters (MSc) at al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. He then went on to pursue a PhD at the University of Birmingham with Prof. Peter Slater funded by Bolashak scholarship of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project involved development of battery materials and study of their structure and phase transitions by X-ray and neutron diffraction. He moved to the Skoltech to work with Prof. Stanislav Fedotov on structural study of oxoanion Na/K-ion battery materials and their transformations under non-ambient conditions.
