Professor: Timofei Zatsepin
I graduated from Chemistry department of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 2012 with MSc in chemistry. After that, I moved to the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBCh RAS), where I received PhD degree in bioorganic chemistry. Last 5 years my research was primarily focused on fluorescent labels, conjugates of synthetic oligonucleotides and DNA probes as well as modified monoclonal antibodies for molecular diagnostics. I have a 10 years’ experience in synthetic organic chemistry, in particular from 2013 to 2018 I worked in LLC Biotech-Innovations (Lumiprobe) as a research associate where I performed development and synthesis of reagents for molecular biology, reactive derivatives of diverse fluorophores and modified monomers for oligonucleotide synthesis.
Industrial project with Generium LLC devoted to enhanced therapeutic RNAs with improved nuclease stability and intracellular distribution.
