Andrey was born in Moscow. As a double degree student he received his M.S. from Moscow Power Engineering Institute and Lappeenranta University of Technology . He gained his research experience in Kurchatov Institute and Frumkin Institute of Russian Academy of Science. As a research engineer he investigated different electrode materials for lithium ion batteries such as graphite, LiFePO4 and others. His research interests lay in the field of energy production, conversion and storage with special focus on lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Currently, Andrey is a doctoral student at Skoltech and he studies doped lithium iron phosphates. Andrey likes to spend his free time in gym, reading books and traveling.
