Professor: Vladimir Spokoiny
Nikita Zhivotovskiy has joined Skoltech community as Junior Research Scientist to work with Professor Vladimir Spokoiny at the Skoltech Center for Computational and Data-Intensive Science and Engineering.
Nikita received his Bachelor and Master degrees from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2011 and in 2013, respectively. His Master thesis was focused on the upper bounds and concentration results for Transductive Learning. In September 2013, Nikita started his postgraduate studies and focused on the area in between classic Statistics and Statistical Learning Theory. During his Ph.D. studies, Nikita obtained several interesting results, partially published in peer-reviewed journals and in the proceedings of leading conferences in this area. These results will form the core of his Ph.D. thesis.
